Our drums are of good quality and we cleanse those using different kinds of cleaning solutions. We adhere to a varied clientele, from lubricants, petroleum products, chemicals and food processing industries to bitumen drums. Our re-conditioned drums give our clients a saving of almost 30 - 40%. There is a proper, long drawn scientific process involved in making drums.
1)SHEARING - Prime quality CRCA steel sheet is cut as per different sizes as per different capacities of the drums as the client requires.
2)ROLLING - Cut sheet is then rolled to form a body of rolled circumferential shape.
3)SPOT WELDING - The rolled body is than over lapped and spot welded so that it captures a proper round shape and gets a sturdy form.
4)WELDING - The over lapped part is than electronically seam welded, and welded with the proper resistance welding to give a leak proof body and then water cooled.
5)FLANGING -The body than goes for bending of the ends at a particular angle so that the top and the bottom gets a good grip and fits perfectly.
6)BEADING -The drum is than passed on to the bead expander which gives it rolling hoops which is an extremely important part of the drum making process.
7)CORRUGATION -The body than goes to get sturdiness with the multiple lines or design giving it a sturdy look.
8)TOP & BOTTOM -The prime quality CRCA STEEL is cut as per the top and bottom sizes, it is than embossed with the respective dias, and given the required opening on the top part.
9)SEAMING -The top and bottom is than assembled on this machine called the Seamer. Giving it 100% leak proof using different types of seaming compound.
10)TESTING -The drums once seamed are tested for 100% leak proof on pneumatically operated machine using soap solution.
11)CLEANING -The drums are cleaned properly and phosphated using cleaning chemicals.
12)PAINTING - Drums are than painted with good quality pure stoving paint and then internally coated with lacquer or epoxy as per company needs and demands , proper micron thickness is monitored throughout the painting process.
13)DRYING - Proper temperature is maintained for perfect curing of the drums and is than tested with tape test and hardness test with solvent test also.
14)STENCIL -Drums are than stenciled with company name and logo along with the customer name.
15)WRAPPING -Drums are than wrapped with corrugated liner and stretch film to protect the color from scratches and peeling during transit and protecting the overall look of the drum.
16)DELIVERY -Drums are loaded keeping in mind the road conditions and loaded properly so that it doesn’t get damaged or dented.
